How to Reactivate a Deactivated Admin

If you’re trying to reactivate a user and don’t see the option, it’s likely because the user was deactivated while set as an Admin.


⚠️ Note: Only the Account Owner has the ability to manage user status for deactivated admin users.

Steps to reactivate a former Admin:

  1. Go to the inactive user’s profile.
  2. Change their user type from Admin to Manager, Assistant Manager, or Employee.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Reactivate the user.
  5. If they should remain an Admin, change their user type back to Admin after reactivation.
