Colette

Comprehensive operations reporting and daily briefings are at your fingertips with the Colette integration in 7shifts! Colette pulls your scheduling, shift, and time clocking data directly into Colette, giving management teams complete operational visibility without manual data entry.

Things to Know

• Access to certain integration features may require a plan upgrade.
• Connecting the integration requires Administrator credentials for both Colette and 7shifts.
• Colette's integration is a one-way sync (7shifts to Colette). Colette reads scheduling and labor data from 7shifts, but will never create, update, approve, or delete data in your 7shifts account.

Add the Colette Integration

Follow these steps to authorize and connect 7shifts with Colette:

1. Log in to your Colette account at askcolette.ai using your credentials.
2. In the left navigation sidebar, go to Settings > Integrations.
3. Under the Labor & Scheduling section, locate 7shifts and click + Connect:
   
4. When redirected to the 7shifts OAuth authorization screen, log in with your 7shifts Admin or Owner credentials and grant the required access permissions:
   
5. Upon successful authorization, you will be redirected back to Colette, where the integration status will display as Active:
   

Actual Labor and Management

Once activated, Colette pulls published schedule data, actual time punches,account structure (Location, Department, and Role), and Manager Log Book content from 7shifts as data becomes available from 7shifts as data becomes available. This data is digested by Colette to power daily briefing reports and operational insights.

Integration Warnings in Time Clocking

Once your POS labor is syncing into 7shifts, you will see a Warnings tab when reviewing your current pay period. This tab highlights punches missing a role in your POS/7shifts labor data that may need attention before running payroll.

These warnings appear directly in Time Clocking > Pay Periods > Warnings, helping you quickly identify and fix issues with labor data flowing in from the POS.

You can resolve most issues right from the Warnings tab, and you can still close your pay period even if some warnings remain.

Disconnecting or Reauthorizing

If you need to disconnect or reauthorize your 7shifts connection:

1. Log in to Colette at askcolette.ai.
2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
3. Locate the 7shifts card under Connected Services and select the delete icon to remove the integration.
4. To reconnect, repeat the connection steps outlined above.
