Schedules Company Settings

Configure options related to employee 7shifts notifications for scheduled shifts. These settings allow you to control when and how employees are notified about their upcoming shifts.

Prerequisites

⚠️ Only Admins can access and update Company Settings. Be sure to hit Save to complete any changes.


Access Schedules Company Settings

  1. Log in to the web app as an Admin.

  2. In the left navigation bar, head to Settings > (or, click on your profile photo) Company Settings.

  3. Select the Schedules  tab:


Schedules Settings Overview

Here’s an overview of these settings:

  • Only with shifts: Send notifications only to employees who have been scheduled for shifts. When enabled, employees who don’t have shifts on a particular day won’t receive any notifications.

  • Shift reminders: Employees will receive a mobile notification reminding them about their upcoming shifts. You can set this reminder to trigger a specific number of hours before the shift start time. The notification includes details about the shift, such as the time and location, along with any important events happening that day.

    ⚠️ This feature is only available for accounts in the following countries: Bermuda, Canada, Singapore, United states of America, United Kingdom.

    ⚠️ Ensure the Time Zone is correctly set up for each Location's settings. This is found under Settings > Locations / Departments / Roles > Locations > the Location name > General. 

    ⚠️ Employees must enable SMS or push notifications on their mobile devices to receive shift reminder notifications.

  • Hours to notify before shift start time: Specify the number of hours before a shift that an employee should receive their reminder notification. For example, setting this to 1 hour will notify employees one hour before their shift begins, giving them time to prepare or commute.
