Sales vs. Labor Dashboard Overview

Admins, Managers, and Assistant Managers use the Overview dashboard in 7shifts to monitor daily operations in real-time. This dashboard provides a central view of labor efficiency, pending employee requests, and recent account activity across both the web and mobile apps.

Things to know

Important: Managers and Assistant Managers must have the 'Can manage schedules' permission enabled to view the Sales vs. Labor dashboard for their assigned locations.

Note: Actual labor data requires the use of 7punches or a POS integration with Actual Labor enabled. The frequency of data updates depends on your specific POS integration settings.

The frequency your sales or labor data will update will depend on your POS integration. However, 7punches users will see their labor data update in real-time.

Sales vs. Labor Dashboard

The Sales vs. Labor Dashboard on the Manager Overview provides a comprehensive view of labor efficiency by displaying a graph of projected and actual sales & labor. This data is pulled directly from your schedule and your POS or 7punches, giving you a quick snapshot of operating costs and the necessary insight to make schedule adjustments.

Mobile Web

At the top of the mobile Manager Dashboard, request blocks will display all pending employee requests. Selecting any block takes you directly to the approval screen for the specific type: Shift Pool, Time Off, and Availability requests.

Note: Managers/Assistant Managers require at least one of the below permissions to see Request Blocks. The blocks displayed will correspond only to the permissions they have, and will only show pending requests for their assigned Location and Departments: 'Can approve/decline shift pool requests/time off requests/ availability'.
