How do I fix greyed out shifts?

Issue

You may encounter shifts in your 7shifts account that appear greyed out and are not accessible. They are shifts that are stuck at the Location level and are typically created before roles or departments were set up in the system. For these shifts to qualify as being stuck at the location level, they should appear greyed out across all departments.

What To Do

Check that the shifts are not simply located in another department or location in your account. Use the dropdown filters to switch between them.

In many cases, it's easier to ignore these shifts, as they usually only appear during the early stages of using 7shifts (when testing out shift creation). However, if the these shifts are causing problems, start a chat for further assistance.
