Why are some shifts greyed out?

Why are some shifts on the schedule faded or greyed out?

Answer

Faded or greyed-out shifts indicate that an employee is scheduled under another Department or Location. These shifts cannot be clicked or edited unless you are viewing the same Department and Location where they were originally created. 

Use the Location and Department dropdown menus to change the schedule you are viewing:
