Easily manage your Tip Payouts subscription directly from within your Account. You can conveniently pay for your subscription each month through automatic bank transfers or direct payments from your credit card. Follow the steps below to change and update your banking details.
⚠️ Once the bank account has been updated, it may take up to 10 business days for float top-ups to begin withdrawing from the new account.
- Login as an Admin.

In the left navigation bar, head to Tip Management > Tip Payouts > select Banking.
- Click on the More options
icon next to the location you'd like to update.
- Select Update bank account:
- Follow the on-screen prompts to choose an existing card on file or + Link a new bank account to enter your new banking details. 7shifts will use this account to withdraw funds and top-up your Float Amount.
⚠️ When completing the Name on Account fields, enter your first and last name as it appears in your 7shifts Account.
You'll find it by heading to Settings (or, clicking on your profile photo) > My Account.
- Review and confirm your new banking details by clicking Next.

- Login as an Admin.

In the left navigation bar, head to Tip Management > Tip Payouts > select Banking.
- Click + Set up a new location.
- Follow the module to set up your Location, float amount, and fee allocation.

On the Banking Setup page, choose an existing card on file, or + Link a new bank account to enter new banking details. 7shifts will use this account to withdraw funds and top-up your Float Amount.
⚠️ When completing the Name on Account fields, enter your first and last name as it appears in your 7shifts Account.
You'll find it by heading to Settings (or, clicking on your profile photo) > My Account.

Click Next to confirm your banking details.

Review the float amount being withdrawn from your bank, and click Confirm transfer.
- Hit Done, and you have successfully set up this Location's Payment Batch!
- Login as an Admin.

In the left navigation bar, head to Tip Management > Tip Payouts > select Banking.
- Click on the More Options icon next to the Location you'd like to edit your float for:
- Enter the amount you want readily accessible > click Adjust:
- Review and click Confirm to complete the transfer of funds into your 7shifts float:
Prerequisites
⚠️ Once disabled, access to Tip Payouts is immediately removed. You can expect your funds to be credited to your account within 10 business days.
⚠️ Refunds must be issued to the original form of payment, with which the Location was set up.

In the left navigation bar, head to Settings > Add-Ons:
- Click on Tip Payouts:
- Select the More Options icon > Disable:
- Let us know why you'd like to disable Tip Payouts and share any barriers you may have experienced - your feedback is most valuable!
- Select Next.
- Review the total refundable amount and choose to Keep Tip Payouts or Disable Tip Payouts.
If you choose to disable Tip Payouts, we'll send you an invoice of the transaction to your e-mail on file.
- Login as an Admin.

- Select Remove Location:
- Let us know why you'd like to disable Tip Payouts and share any barriers you may have experienced - your feedback is most valuable!
- Review the total refundable amount and choose to Keep this Location or Remove and refund.
If you chose the 'Remove and refund' option, access to this Location's Tip Payouts is immediately removed and you can expect your funds to be credited to your account within 10 business days. An invoice for this transaction will be sent to your e-mail on file.
FAQs
Q: Once Tip Payouts has been disabled, does it disable Tip Payouts reporting too?
A: No. If you disable Tip Payouts, you'll still have access to historical data for reporting purposes.
Q: Do Employees have to sign up again with their banking information if I re-enable Tip Payouts?
A: Yes. Disabling Tip Payouts will remove your employee's banking information. You will need to invite them again if you were to re-enable Tip Payouts again.
