⚠️ This feature requires that you have an active POS sales integration, and are using 7punches or have a POS integration with Actual Labor enabled. 
⚠️ This feature is offered as paid add-on. Please see our Pricing Page for more information.

⚠️ Admins and Managers/Assistant Managers with permissions can access the Operations and Enterprise Overviews.

To enable Operations Overview

1. Head to the left navigation bar, and select Settings Add-ons:

2. In the List of Add-ons, find and click on 'Operations Overview.'

3. Click on the 'Enable Operations Overview' option.

4. Once you've completed the billing prompts, the add-on will be activated.

If you have multiple Locations set up within the same 7shifts account, you can navigate to the Dashboard page where the 'Location Overview' and 'Engage Overview' tabs will now be visible.

If you have Locations set up across multiple 7shifts accounts, you'll be able to access the Enterprise Overview and Enterprise Engage Overview.


Location Overview

The Location Overview will allow you to view a breakdown of your sales and labor data across all of your Locations within the same 7shifts account.

1. Click on the Location Overview option at the top of your Dashboard to access the account sales and labor breakdown.

2. With the Location Overview, you can see:

  • Combined totals for all Locations, along with the previous week's comparison for the following data:

    Total Sales - Total actual sales
    Average Labor - average actual labor % across all Locations
    Average SPLH - average sales per labor hour across all Locations
    Total OT Hours - total actual overtime hours accrued across all Locations
  • For each individual Location, you will also see:

    Sales - Total actual sales
    vs. Projected - Difference between the actual and projected sales
    Labor - Actual labor %
    vs. Scheduled - Difference between the scheduled and actual labor %
    SPLH - sales per labor hour based on actual sales and labor
    OT Hours - total actual overtime hours accrued

    Totals - the final row provides a total sum of each column (Sales, vs. Projected, Labor, vs. Scheduled, SPLH, OT Hours).

3. You can filter and sort your data by date range, day / week / month, and other options along the top panel.

4. This report can be downloaded as a CSV file using the 'Export' button.


Engage Overview

For accounts with multiple Locations, the Engage Overview gives a view of all Location Engage scores. 

⚠️ This feature is visible for Admins and Managers / Assistant Managers with permissions enabled. 
⚠️ If your account has only one Location, this view will not be available to you. Please see the Engage tab along the navigation bar at the top of your screen. 

1. On the Dashboard page, click on the 'Engage Overview' tab.

2. Filter and sort your data by date range, week / month, employee type, and other options along the top panel.

3. This report can be downloaded as a CSV file using the 'Export' button.


Enterprise Overview

The Enterprise Overview is designed for enterprise clients with several 7shifts accounts. This web app feature will allow you to:

  • View the sales and labor information for all accounts in the same place.
  • View the Employee Engagement information for all accounts in the same place.
  • Easily navigate between separate accounts.
⚠️ Before enabling the Enterprise Overview:
1. Ensure you have the same email across all accounts.
2. Ensure you have the same password across all accounts.

Viewing sales and labor information

1. Upon login you will be taken directly to the Enterprise Overview. 

2. Here you will see the following:
  • Combined totals for all accounts and Locations, along with the previous week comparison for the following data:

    Average SPLH - average sales per labor hour across all Locations
    Total OT Hours - total actual overtime hours accrued across all Locations

4. Choose the 'Export' option to download this information as a CSV file.


Navigating Between Accounts

You can switch between separate 7shifts accounts without logging out and back in.

⚠️ You will require the same email address and password for the across the multiple 7shifts accounts you wish to toggle between. Click here to learn more.
You can switch accounts by doing the following:

1. In the top left corner, select the 'Enterprise' dropdown.

2. Choose the appropriate Company name to be taken directly to that account.

3. Repeat the process to navigate between accounts.


Enterprise Overview for Engage

You can view your Engage stats account-wide through the Engage tab.

1. Click on the 'Engage' tab.

2. Select Week or Month layout, date range, and filter by employee type.

3. Filter/sort stats from the top panel categories.
