How to Request a Message History Export in 7shifts
Issue
You need to access the full message history or transcript for your company, including all messages sent and received by employees within 7shifts.
What To Do
⚠️ Important: Only Admin user types can request message history. You may be required to verify your identity before the request is processed.
To request a message history export, please contact the 7shifts support team via Chat.
When you submit your request, please provide the following information:
- Company Account Name: If you have multiple accounts linked to your profile, specify which account the request is for.
- Confirmation of Delivery Email: Confirm the Admin email address where you would like the report sent.
Message Export Limitations
- Message exports cannot be filtered by date range or by individual users. 7shifts provides the complete historical data from the date your account was opened.
- The export includes only direct and group messages. Announcements are separate from messaging and are not included in this export.
- Exporting a large volume of data can take up to 30 days to complete.
- Reports are emailed exclusively to the designated Admin email address once the backend export is finalized.
