Why are there no location options when connecting Toast to a new 7shifts location?

Issue

I am trying to connect a new 7shifts/Toast Location, but the location is missing from the dropdown (i.e. No options):

Important: Make sure you have purchased a connector via Toast for each location want to integrate.

To resolve this, ensure the Partner Group ID from 7shifts is added to the new Location in Toast. 

  1. Click on "Don't see your location listed here?" and then "Click here to connect a new location."
  2. Follow the Connect a new location setup flow. 
  3. Click Open Toast.

  4. In Toast, head to Integrations > Configure integrations
  5. Find 7shifts and click the gear icon under Actions.
  6. Copy and paste the 7shifts Partner Group ID provided in 7shifts into the Group ID field in Toast. Apply the same Group ID for both locations and leave the Location ID fields blank.

  7. Select Apply.
  8. In 7shifts, click Check Connection ✅.
  9. Once connection is established, follow the in app setup to connect the Toast location to the corresponding 7shifts location, configure your settings, match Roles and import employees. 

7shifts location is missing from the dropdown

7shifts supports one POS integration per location. If the 7shifts location is already connected to a different POS, it will not appear as an available option when connecting Toast.

To resolve this, disconnect the existing POS integration from that 7shifts location before connecting Toast. Follow the steps in How to switch your POS integration in 7shifts.
