Why Isn't My POS Sending Labor Data to 7shifts for Payroll Processing?

Issue

My payroll process is being delayed because labor data is not automatically transferring from my POS to 7shifts. What is the cause of this issue?


Solution

If your employees are clocking in and out through your POS system and you're using either 7shifts Payroll or one of our Integrated Payroll partners to process payments, follow these steps to ensure proper integration and data transfer:

  • Ensure Your POS is Integrated with 7shifts

  • Enable Actual Labor in your POS Integration Settings

    1. From the 7shifts web app, navigate to Apps & Integrations.
    2. Select My Integrations.
    3. Click on your POS integration from the list.
    4. Go to Settings, then select the Labor tab.
    5. Toggle on Actual Labor.
  • Map All Employees & Roles


⚠️ Important: If this is your first time completing these steps and labor data is still not syncing into 7shifts, there may be existing data that hasn't been transferred. In this case, contact our support team to initiate a manual data sync.
