Can employees swap shifts with others in different roles?

Answer

This depends on the Employee's assignments.

Employees can only offer and take shift trade requests with those who share the same Location, Department, and Role assignments.

Enable this by assigning the Employee to multiple Roles, allowing them to trade shifts across those roles. In addition, you can leverage the Primary Role feature to indicate where they would appear on the Schedules page:
