Things to Know

Important: At this time, Training notifications can only be managed in the web app. Mobile app notification settings for Training will be supported in a future release.

  • Employees are notified when they're assigned a Course.
  • Managers are notified when an Employee completes a Lesson that requires sign-off.
  • If no Managers are found at the Role, Department, or Location level for a Course, Admins are notified as a fallback.
  • Admins, Managers, Assistant Managers, and Employees can customize personal notification preferences to enable or disable Training alerts.

Employee notifications

Employees receive a push notification and email when they're assigned a Training Course.

Manager and Admin notifications

Managers are notified when an Employee completes a Training Lesson that requires sign-off. The notification logic is as follows:

  • Course assigned to a specific Role: all Managers in that Role's Department are notified
  • Course assigned to a specific Department: all Managers in that Department are notified
  • Course assigned to a Location: all Managers in that Location are notified

If no Managers are found at any level, Admins will receive the notification (if their notifications are enabled).

Configure Training notification settings

Both Employees and Managers can manage their Training notification preferences from the web app.

  1. Log in to the web app and hover over your profile picture.
  2. Select My Account, then go to the Notifications tab.
  3. Under the Training section, toggle notification on or off.
