What should I do if my address is not appearing in the 7shifts address selector?
Issue
A location address is not recognized or will not populate in the 7shifts address selector, even if the address exists in Google Maps. This prevents users from configuring Location/Department/Role settings or completing Payroll Setup.
Cause
7shifts uses Google’s business listings to verify and populate addresses. If a Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) listing is incorrect, unverified, or contains a different address format than what is being searched, the 7shifts selector will be unable to retrieve the location data.
What To Do
To resolve address recognition issues, ensure your business information is correctly listed and verified on Google:
- Search for your business name on Google Maps. Ensure the address matches exactly what you are entering into 7shifts.
- If the address on Google is incorrect or missing, you must update your Google Business Profile as the verified owner.
Issue Unresolved
If your address is 100% accurate on Google Maps but still does not appear in the 7shifts selector, please contact 7shifts Support with the exact address and a direct link to your business on Google Maps.
