Why are tips appearing in the Tip Pooling Report but not in the Tip Management Overview?


Answer

Important: You must have Admin or Manager permissions and an active Tip Pool for the selected location and pay period to access this data.

This happens because the Tip Calculation for that specific location is not configured to include distributed tips. The Tip Management Overview dashboard displays an empty state with zero values if the calculation formula does not include "Tip Out" or "Received from Tip Pool" data, even if the Tip Pooling Report shows that tips were collected.


What to do

To resolve this, you must update the Tip Calculation settings for the affected location. Ensure the calculation includes all relevant pooled tip data to allow the 7shifts dashboard to populate correctly.
