Can tip details be applied retroactively to previous weeks in 7shifts?

Answer

Yes. When a tip pool is created, 7shifts applies the calculations to all dates, past and present, as long as the required punch and tip data exist for those dates.

Once you set up a tip pool, 7shifts automatically calculates the tip distribution for previous weeks if employees have:

• Worked hours (punch data) for both contributors and receivers.
• Existing total tip distribution data.

This allows you to set up a new tip pool and have it calculate retroactively for any period that meets these criteria.
