View and download tax filings

When you process payroll through 7shifts Payroll, copies of all federal and state tax submissions are automatically stored in your account. You can use the Tax Forms page to confirm submissions, access past filings for audits, or download copies for your records.

View and download tax filings


You can access and download your federal and state tax filings directly from the 7shifts web app.

  1. Log in to the web app as an Admin.
  2. Navigate to PayrollTaxesTax Forms.
  3. Review the Jurisdiction, Period, and Filed On columns to identify the correct filing.
  4. Select the Download Icon (arrow icon) to download a PDF copy of the filing.

Each filing displays key details to help you identify the correct record:

Column Description
Jurisdiction Shows whether the filing is Federal or State
Period The quarter or year covered by the filing
Filed On The date the filing was submitted
Download Icon Click the arrow icon to download a PDF copy.

Troubleshoot missing tax filings


Tax filings only appear after specific conditions are met. If a filing is missing from the Tax Forms page, verify the following requirements.

  • Confirm that 7shifts Payroll processed and paid the payroll for that specific period.
  • Verify that your Tax ID and Third-Party Administrator (TPA) access are active in all relevant agency portals.
  • Contact 7shifts Support if you suspect a tax filing has failed or was not submitted.
