How to Complete a Training Course in 7shifts (For Employees)
7shifts Training is a new feature that allows restaurant operators to create, assign, and manage training courses for their staff directly within 7shifts. This guide outlines how Team Members and Employees can complete a training course in the 7shifts mobile app.
⚠️ Note: 7shifts Training is currently in Closed Beta. To join our waitlist, visit the What's New page in the web app and select Join Waitlist. Please note that sign-up does not guarantee immediate access; our team will contact you directly as more spots become available.
⚠️ Important: Training courses must be completed on the 7shifts mobile app. They cannot be completed on the web app at this time.

When you're assigned a training course, you'll get a push notification on your mobile device. Click on this notification to open the course directly. Alternatively, you can follow the steps below.
Tip: You must have 7shifts push notifications enabled to receive Training notifications.

Steps: How to Complete a Training Course
- Open the 7shifts Mobile App Log into your account and navigate to the Training tab from the More menu.

Select Your Course
- You'll see a list of courses under the Assigned Training section. Tap Start to begin.

Complete Each Page
- Courses can include a variety of content:
- Text instructions
- Images and videos
- Quiz questions
- Scroll through each page to view all content. If a page has a quiz question, you must answer it before you can continue.

Submit Quiz Answers
- For pages with quiz questions, select the correct answer(s) and tap Submit. The app will immediately confirm if your answer is correct or incorrect.
Tip: There may be more than one correct answer listed!

Finish the Course
Once you've viewed all pages and answered all questions, a “Module Completed” message will appear. Your course status will now be updated to Completed.
Tracking Your Progress
You can return to the Training tab at any time to:
- Start a newly assigned course.
- Review the content of any courses you've already completed.
Important Notes
- Completion Requirements: You must view all course content and complete any quizzes to mark the course as "Completed."
- Notifications: When a course is first assigned, you'll receive a push notification. This notification is also saved in your mobile notification center.
- Manager Tracking: Your manager can track your progress from the web dashboard, so be sure to complete your training in a timely manner.
