View Time Punches from the Schedule

When viewing a published shift in the Schedule, you may now see a Time Punch tab. This tab shows you if there’s a time punch tied to that shift, helping you track and manage your team’s hours more effectively.

If your account hasn’t connected labor data yet (such as a POS labor integration or 7punches), you’ll see a prompt to connect.

Account Owner

We’re rolling out a new user type in 7shifts: the Account Owner.

The Account Owner is a unique user type with enhanced administrative privileges, designed for the business owner, the person who originally signed up for 7shifts, or a senior leader responsible for managing the account at the highest level.

This user has full control over Admin-level users—making it easier to manage key settings like promoting, demoting, or deactivating Admins without needing to contact 7shifts Support.

Note: This feature is being released in phases. If you don’t yet see an Account Owner assigned in your account, sit tight—we’ll notify you once it’s live.

7punches App Update: Shift Preview Now Available

We're introducing a new update to the 7punches app that allows employees to preview their scheduled and ongoing shifts before clocking in or out. This feature is designed to provide more clarity and help reduce punch-time errors.

To access the latest features, make sure your 7punches app is up to date. Visit the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) to check for updates.
