Does updating a 7shifts profile update an employee pay stub address?

Can an employee's address on their pay stub be updated by simply changing it in their 7shifts profile?


Answer

No. Updating an employee address in the 7shifts profile changes their contact information, but it does not automatically update the address displayed on pay stubs. To update the address on a pay stub, the employee must resubmit the Federal I-9 form.


What To Do

To update the permanent home address linked to 7shifts Payroll, an Admin must resend the Federal I-9 form to the employee.

  1. Navigate to Team > Employees > Onboarding.
  2. Click Send New Package.
  3. Fill in the required fields and select the employee.
  4. When choosing forms, select only the Federal I-9 form.
  5. Have the employee complete and submit the form with their updated address.

Once the employee submits the updated form, the new address will appear on future pay stubs.
