How to connect and switch between multiple 7shifts accounts
Users can access and switch between multiple 7shifts accounts using a single email address to manage profiles. This is helpful if you work for multiple restaurants using 7shifts and want to switch between employers without logging out.
Things To Know
Important: Multiple profiles will only connect automatically if the profiles share the exact same email address and password.
- If a new employer sets up a profile using an existing email address, manual changes to the email settings are not required.
- Employees must accept the initial email invitation sent by the new employer before the additional workplace appears in their 7shifts profile.
- If passwords do not match across restaurant profiles, users must request a password reset to align credentials and trigger the automatic account connection.
- Link confirmation emails sent during manual email updates remain valid for 24 hours before expiring.
Connect your 7shifts accounts
- Log in to the 7shifts account that uses the email address that requires editing.
- Click the profile icon in the top right corner (or select Settings in the left menu) > My Account.
- Change the email address to the address intended for the unified login and click Save:
- Check the email inbox for a confirmation message with the subject: "Confirm Your E-mail" sent to the original email address (the address you removed).
- Click the Confirm my email button to be redirected back to app.7shifts.com.
- Log into 7shifts using the new connected email address.
- Access all linked 7shifts accounts using these shared credentials.
Switch between multiple 7shifts accounts
Use the tabs to change your viewing preferences through the mobile or web app:
Your email and password can be updated by heading to the Dashboard > your profile logo at the top right. Once they match across all your Accounts, they will automatically connect.
- Tap the More menu
at the bottom right corner of the app.
- Tap the Account dropdown:
- Select the Account you wish to view, and you'll be taken to that Account:
Your email and password can be updated by clicking on your profile icon (or, Settings in the left navigation bar) > select My Account. Once they match across all your Accounts, they will automatically connect.
- Click the Account name at the top left.
- Select the Account you wish to view, and you'll be taken to the Dashboard of that Account:
