Why is the Labor Budget Tool blank for the rest of the week?

Issue

If the Labor Budget Tool appears empty or isn’t showing labor projections for the rest of the week, it’s a common display setting issue. This typically happens when the tool is set to Compare to actuals instead of Projections.

What To Do

When you're in Compare to actuals mode, the tool will only show data for past days with available actual sales and labor costs. Upcoming days will appear blank unless switched back to Projections.

This view may automatically switch at the start of a new week or after reviewing actual data from prior days.

Prerequisites

⚠️ Managers and Assistant Managers require permission 'Can manage schedules'.

  1. Login as an Admin or Manager with permissions.
  2. In the left navigation bar, select Schedule.
  3. Navigate to the Labor Budget Tool.
  4. Click Compare to actuals in the top left corner of the tool
  5. Select Projections

Issue Unresolved

Verify the following reasons as to why labor projections may not be showing:

  • You've selected a department with no active employees.
  • Projected Sales haven't been imported or pulled from your POS integration
  • You're viewing a week too far in advance, where projections haven't yet loaded.
