Why can't I select a Location when connecting my POS?

Issue

When connecting a POS integration, my 7shifts Location does not Location drop-down menu. 


What To Do

The common solution may be to disconnect an existing POS, OR ensure that a partner ID is added in the POS correctly:

⚠️ Admin or Manager/Assistant Manager with 'Can manage integrations' permissions are required to access integration settings.


Check for existing POS connections

  1. Go to Apps & Integrations > My Integrations.
  2. Click on the POS and select Connect a Location.
  3. If the Location does not appear, proceed to the next step.
     

Verify existing integration settings

  1. Return to My Integrations and check if another POS is already connected.
  2. If the Location is already linked to a different POS, give this article a read before you click Settings to Disconnect the connection.
  3. Alternatively, consider deleting the entire integration from the My Integrations page. 


Verify the Partner ID is correctly set up in your POS

Check whether entering a Partner Group IS is a required steps for your POS integration. If needed, ensure that during initial setup you have correctly copied and pasted your 7shifts Partner Group ID into the corresponding Group ID field in your POS system.
