What do the colored flags on the schedule mean?

Question:

I see some shifts on the schedule that have colored flags. What do these flags indicate?

Answer:

The colored flags on the schedule represent Shift Flags. These flags are added manually to shifts or automatically based on employee time clock activity. They highlight specific attendance issues. There are three types of Shift Flags:

  • Sick: Indicates an employee was marked as sick for their shift.
  • Late: Indicates an employee arrived late for their shift.
  • No-Show: Indicates an employee did not show up for their scheduled shift.
  • Called Off: Indicates Manager calls an employee off early — flags the shift instead of deleting it.
  • Called In: Indicates employee called in last minute — shift is flagged "Called In" for full visibility in reporting.

Each flag has a different color, making it easy to identify at a glance. Shift Flags help managers identify potential employee engagement issues.
