Tip Payouts Setup: Send Your First Payout

This article guides you through the process of sending your first tip payout batch in 7shifts.

Steps to Send Your First Payout Batch: 

1. Review and Pay: Once you've added employees to the batch, configured transaction fees, and connected your bank account, the 'Review and Pay' button will become clickable. Click it to start the final payout process.
2. Identity Verification (KYC): You'll be prompted to verify your identity through a quick KYC process. This is a one-time security measure to protect your payouts.
3. Final Review and Payment: After verifying your identity, you'll see a summary of your payout details.
4. Initiate Payout: Click 'Pay' to initiate your first tip payout batch. It will take a few days for employees to receive their funds for the first batch, but this starts the process.

What to Expect After Clicking 'Pay'

• Employee Notifications: Employees will receive a notification to their mobile device prompting them to connect their bank accounts to 7shifts. They must complete this step to receive their tip payouts.
• Bank Withdrawal: 7shifts withdraws the funds from your connected bank account. 
  • ⚠️ This takes 2-5 business days for bank processing.
• Payout Processing: Once 7shifts receives the funds, the tip payouts will be processed and distributed to the employees who have connected their bank accounts.

Troubleshooting

• 'Review and Pay' Button Not Clickable: If the 'Review and Pay' button is not clickable, double-check that you have met all the prerequisites listed above.
• Payout Delays: If you experience delays in payout processing beyond the 2-5 business day timeframe, please contact 7shifts support.
