Set Up Custom Earning Codes in ADP Run
Custom earning codes allow businesses to categorize different types of earnings in their payroll system. In ADP Run, these codes can be used to separate credit card (CC) tips and cash tips, ensuring accurate payroll reporting.
⚠️ Account settings in ADP may vary depending on how the account was initially set up. If you're unsure on how to add custom earning codes, reach out to your ADP representative for more assistance.
How to Set Up Custom Earning Codes in ADP Run
Once custom earning codes are added in both ADP Run and 7shifts, CC and Cash tips will be recorded in separate columns in ADP Run instead of being grouped together. This prevents duplicate tip reporting and ensures accurate payroll processing.
