Why are Overtime hours exporting as Regular Hours through Quickbooks?

Why aren't overtime (OT) hours exporting as a separate column in Quickbooks?

Answer

When exporting timesheets from 7shifts to QuickBooks through the integration, you may notice that OT hours are combined with regular hours instead of being exported into a separate OT column.

This is expected behavior due to the way QuickBooks handles data imports. Currently, QuickBooks does not support separating OT hours into their own column during the import process.

If this feature is important to your workflow, we encourage you to submit a feature request directly to QuickBooks or share your feedback with Intuit as this requires development changes from Intuit (Quickbooks).
