Employee not syncing from Toast to 7shifts

Why isn’t my employee appearing in 7shifts after adding them to Toast?

What To Do

If the employee is added in Toast and has not appeared in 7shifts, please check the following:

  • The role is created in 7shifts and mapped to the role to which the employee is assigned in Toast. This means that the role(s) for which the employee has been added in the POS exists in 7shifts and is also mapped.
  • The employee has an email address associated with their profile in Toast. This is necessary for sending an invitation (not mandatory for creating them). However, if Schedule Enforcement is on in the integration settings, new employees without an email will not be created automatically and will only appear on the mapping page.
  • If these conditions are met, check the mapping page. If the employee shows up on the mapping page, navigating away from the page should trigger the automatic employee sync, and they should show up as a new employee in 7shifts.
  • The typical sync timeframe is an hour. Wait for an hour after creating the profile in the POS.
