Viewing Employee Payment & Banking Information in 7shifts

This article explains how Admins and Managers can view employee payment and banking details collected through Employee Onboarding or 7shifts Payroll.

⚠️ Prerequisites

To view employee payment and banking details:

  • The employee must have completed:
    • An onboarding package with the Payment Method form enabled, or
    • Setup through 7shifts Payroll
  • Manager/Assistant Manager users must have the following permissions:
    • Can edit employees
    • Can manage employee documents
    • Can manage and pay for Employee Onboarding

Where to View Employee Banking Details

These views allow you to see the banking information submitted by employees, but do not allow any updates to be made.

Option 1: Via Employee Onboarding

To access full payment method details submitted via onboarding:

  1. Log in to 7shifts as an Admin or Manager/Assistant Manager with the required permissions.
  2. Go to Team > Onboarding
  3. Select either the In-progress or Completed tab.
  4. Click on the employee's name to expand their record.
  5. Click Payment Method to view submitted banking info.

Option 2: Via Employee Profile

To view the last 4 digits of an employee's payment account:

  1. Log in to the web app with the correct permissions.
  2. Go to Team and select the employee.
  3. Navigate to the Wages and payment tab.
  4. In the Payment section, click Show banking details to reveal the last 4 digits of the account on file.

🔒 Note: You may be required to complete multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access banking details.
