Searching and filtering Manager Log Book records

You can search through past Manager Log Book entries and updates to quickly find historical business information and performance records.

Things To Know


  • This feature is accessible only to Admins, Managers, and Assistant Managers.
  • Managers and Assistant Managers can only search for entries within the Locations they are assigned to.
  • Search results for Employee Performance Logs only include entries made within the Manager Log Book, not logs entered directly on an employee's profile.
  • Access to Employee Performance Insights may require a specific 7shifts plan upgrade.

Search Log Book Entries


Use the search tool in the web app to filter through custom categories and performance notes.

  1. In the left navigation bar, head to Log Book Search.
  2. Use the filtering options to narrow down your search by date, location, or keyword. Your results will load automatically as you apply filters. 


     
  3. Review the Custom categories section to see results related to your specific business tracking categories. 


     
  4. Review the Employee Performance Logs section for notes regarding team member conduct or achievements. 

Important: If you cannot see certain categories, contact your Admin to manage category permissions.

Next Steps


If you find an entry that requires an update or follow-up, you can click into the record to add additional comments for the management team.
