To ensure your payroll is processed on time, you should aim to submit it by the specified cut-off times. 

This article will help you understand the 7shifts Payroll submission deadline and processing times.

⚠️ Paydays cannot fall on weekends or bank holidays, as banks do not process transactions on these days. If a payment is submitted on a weekend or bank holiday, it will not begin processing until the next business day.


Cut-Off Deadline for Payroll Submission
 

  • 5:00 PM PST, 2 or 4 days before payday.


Processing Timelines

4-Day Processing: All companies start with this standard processing timeline, providing extra time after the pay period ends to finalize and submit payroll.

Timeline example:

  • Monday: Admin runs payroll from 5:00 PM PST.
  • Tuesday (Day 1): Processing continues.
  • Wednesday (Day 2): Processing continues.
  • Thursday (Day 3): Processing continues.
  • Friday (Day 4): Funds are deposited to your team's bank account(s).
     

2-Day Processing: Companies may shift to this expedited timeline once completing the verification process (10 successfully funded payrolls with no failed fundings). If you'd like to request 2-day processing sooner, feel free to reach out to us, though approval is not guaranteed.
