How do Tip Pooling and Tip Payouts work together?

What’s the relationship between Tip Pooling and Tip Payouts in 7shifts?

Answer

By integrating these systems in 7shifts, restaurants can streamline the process of managing and distributing tips, making it more efficient and transparent for both Employees and management. 

Tip Pooling will calculate the distribution of tips based on pre-set criteria. This ensures fair allocation of the collected tips among all eligible Employees in the Tip Pool.

Once tip allocation has been determined, the totals seamlessly sync with Tip Payouts. This results in minimal manual intervention (although the option is available for you to customize and control payouts as needed), reduces the likelihood of errors and saves valuable administrative time. Tip Payouts allows you to initiate the direct deposit of these calculated tips directly in Employees' debit accounts.
