Grant Third-Party Administrator (TPA) Access in Vermont
A Third-Party Administrator (TPA) is an external organization or service provider that manages payroll and employee benefits on behalf of a company. To comply with Vermont state regulations, 7shifts Payroll customers must grant Check (our payroll processing partner) TPA access to the Vermont Department of Labor. This enables Check to handle payroll-related communications directly with the department on your behalf.
Note: Confirm that Check Technologies has TPA access for the current year and upcoming filing periods. Access can have a prescribed end date or extend indefinitely. Update or renew the access as needed.
Steps to Authorize Check as Your TPA in Vermont:
Vermont — Dept. of Labor (VT SUI)
Required for: Filing
Note: Check Technologies must request access to your account before you can assign it in myPATH. If Check Technologies doesn't appear as an option, contact 7shifts support and we'll help coordinate with them directly.
- The TPA request appears directly in the client-portal.
- The company must respond before access is granted.
- Check receives electronic notification of the response.
- Requests expire 10 days after submission. If the company doesn't respond in time, Check must submit a new request.
