Fix a QuickBooks employee loading error
When 7shifts tries to load your staff list from QuickBooks Online Payroll, it requires every worker profile to have a name. If a profile is missing a name, the employee mapping page fails and blocks your timesheet export. Here's how to fix it.
Error message:
"There was a problem loading employees from QuickBooks. Please try refreshing the page or contacting 7shifts Support if the problem persists."
This error appears when at least one worker profile in QuickBooks Online Payroll has no name entered. When 7shifts tries to load your staff list to match profiles, the missing name breaks the connection and stops the timesheet export.
Resolve the QuickBooks employee loading error
- In 7shifts, go to Integrations > Mapping and locate the user with no name listed.
- Log in to your QuickBooks Online Payroll account.
- Search your worker list for the profile that is missing a name.
- Edit that profile, enter the employee's name, and save.
- Return to 7shifts and select Integrations in the left navigation.
- Click Mapping to confirm the profile is now matched.
- Retry your timesheet export to QuickBooks.
