Web Navigation Update

The updated web navigation menu streamlines how you access key tools and refreshes your sidebar with clearer labels and redesigned icons. To keep your navigation clean and direct, Apps & Integrations has been shortened to Integrations, and Tip Management is now simply Tips. These visual improvements match the upcoming mobile update, ensuring a consistent experience whether you manage your restaurant from a computer or on the go.

• The Team, Hiring, Tasks, Log Book, Tips, and Reports pages feature updated icons for better visibility.

• Navigation settings and layouts remain exactly where you expect them to keep your daily routines fast and simple.

  

ADP Workforce Now Next Gen Integration

The new ADP Workforce Now Next Gen integration streamlines your payroll process by providing advanced support for tips, holiday pay, and specialized pay policies. You can connect your accounts to automatically sync labor data and eliminate manual tracking.

• Track complex earnings accurately with built-in support for double overtime and holiday pay.
• Simplify your tip configurations using direct tip mapping without needing to set up ADP memo codes.
• Map your data seamlessly using a single Paygroup per 7shifts account to keep your payroll organization consistent.
• Manage Fair Labor Standards Act policy calculations natively for weekly pay periods.

SpotOn Express POS Integration

The new SpotOn Express POS integration automatically syncs actual sales, labor, employee profiles, and wages to 7shifts to streamline your restaurant operations. This seamless connection helps restaurant managers reduce manual data entry and keep labor costs aligned with live sales trends.

• Track real-time labor costs alongside live sales figures directly within your 7shifts account.
• Sync employee data, hourly wages, and automatic tip pool contributions including credit card, auto-gratuity, and declared tips.
• Use the Integration Warning Tab to quickly identify and troubleshoot sync issues across all sections.
• Coming Soon! View key metrics like Who's Working and your sales vs. labor graphs straight from your SpotOn Express terminal.

7shifts Training - Join the Beta Waitlist!

Schedule Right-Click Menu

The new right-click menu on the web Schedule allows you to manage shifts and organize your team's day with fewer clicks. This shortcut provides immediate access to essential shift management tools directly from the shift cell, helping you build your weekly roster more efficiently.

• Quickly copy or duplicate existing shifts to fill out your schedule faster.
• Edit shift details or delete them instantly without opening additional menus.
• Apply shift flags like Sick, Late, or No-show to track employee attendance at a glance.
• Right-click any empty cell to create a new shift exactly where you need it.

Minor Labor Compliance

7shifts now helps you track federal mandates for younger employees with the Minor Labor Compliance feature. You can easily identify minors on your schedule and receive proactive alerts to stay compliant with labor laws.

• You can enable compliance settings for 14 and 15-year-old employees to monitor school-day hour limits and curfew restrictions.
• The new M indicator identifies employees under 18 on the schedule, employee profiles, and shift pool requests.
• Admins and Managers receive real-time exception warnings when a shift conflicts with federal hour limits or curfew hours.
• You must enter birth dates in employee profiles to trigger compliance warnings and accurately track minor labor status.
• The Minor Labor Compliance feature that alerts for possible minor violations is currently available only to customers in the US and access may require an upgrade from your current 7shifts plan.

7shifts Payroll Reports Tab

The new Payroll Reports tab provides 7shifts Payroll Admins with a centralized hub to generate essential data and validate payroll accuracy quickly under Payroll > Reports. You can access a variety of reports including the Payroll Journal, Payroll Summary, Payroll Accounting Summary (Coming Soon!) and Employee Timesheets directly from this dedicated space.

AI Schedule Importer - Mobile

Admins and Managers can now use the AI Schedule Importer directly from the 7shifts mobile app to quickly build schedules during their trial. This update allows you to upload photos or files from your mobile device and automatically extract shifts, employees, departments, and roles into your account.

• Launch the importer from the schedule page during your trial if you skipped the initial setup.
• Choose to take a new photo, upload an image from your library, or select a document file to begin the extraction process.
• Review and modify extracted data to ensure your departments, roles, and employee assignments are accurate before finalizing.
• Add extracted shifts to your schedule instantly once you receive the mobile notification that processing is complete.

New Shift Flags and Updated Flag Icon

Additional Shift Flags allow you to track more specific attendance scenarios like "Called Off" or "Called In" directly on the schedule. This update helps you maintain an accurate schedule history and ensures your attendance reports reflect real-world staffing changes without needing to delete shifts.

• You can now select "Called Off" or "Called In" as standard flags when editing a shift on the web or mobile app.
• The web schedule now displays a dedicated flag icon on the shift block instead of the previous striped pattern for better visibility.
• These new flags are automatically included in your Attendance and Worked Hours & Wages reports for more detailed record-keeping.

• Admins/Managers with permissions can see flag icons on the shifts and can tap into the shift details to see the specific flag details. 

  

Clair On-Demand Pay

Clair On-Demand Pay now automatically enables for eligible companies, allowing your employees to access an advance on their earned wages directly through the 7shifts mobile app. This update provides your team with immediate financial flexibility without requiring any manual setup or administrative effort on your part.

• Offer your staff early access to their wages at no cost to your business and with zero impact on your current payroll or reporting.
• Admins retain full control over the feature with the ability to disable or re-enable the service at any time. Access the add-on by navigating to Settings > Add-ons > Clair On-Demand Pay to manage your company's preferences.
• Ensure a risk-free experience as Clair manages all funding, compliance, and repayments directly with your employees.
