How do I cancel 7shifts Payroll for a single location?

Admins can disable 7shifts Payroll for a specific business entity while maintaining active payroll services for other locations within a Multi-EIN account.

  • This process only cancels the payroll service for the selected EIN.
  • Historical data, including past payroll runs and tax forms, remains accessible to the Admin after cancellation.

Cancel Payroll for a Specific Location


Important: Ensure you have selected the correct entity using the location toggle before proceeding with cancellation.

  1. In the left navigation bar, select the Payroll tab.
  2. Use the Location/Entity Toggle at the top of the page to select the specific entity you wish to cancel.
  3. Navigate to Business Settings.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Cancel 7shifts Payroll section.
  5. Select Begin Cancellation.

After completing the cancellation steps, verify that your other locations remain active by switching between entities in the Location/Entity Toggle.
