Why Your Pay stub Year-to-Date (YTD) Paid Time Off (PTO) Doesn't Match Your 7shifts Balance

You might notice that the YTD PTO on your pay stub doesn't match the balance you see in 7shifts. Here’s why:

• Pay stubs show history: The Year-to-Date (YTD) figure on your pay stub is a record of how many hours you have been paid for since January 1st. 

• 7shifts shows your live balance: Your 7shifts app shows how much time you actually have available to use right now.

For example, if you took time off at the very end of last year but didn't get the paycheck for it until January, those hours will show up on this year's pay stub. However, they won't count against your new year's balance in 7shifts.

Check the Time Off tab in your 7shifts account for the most accurate, live look at your remaining balance.
