How to Update Your Browser and Clear Cache & Cookies

Issue

You're running into visual issues, outdated features, or general instability when using 7shifts on your web browser or mobile app.

Old browser versions and stored data (like cache and cookies) can prevent 7shifts from loading correctly. You should update your browser and clear your cache/cookies as a first step to resolve most common display and loading issues.

What To Do

Follow the steps for your device and browser below.

1. How to Update Your Browser

Most modern browsers update automatically, but you should check to make sure you're running the latest version for optimal performance and security.

Browser Windows & Mac (Desktop) iOS (iPhone/iPad) & Android (Mobile)
Google Chrome Go to More (three dots) > Help > About Google Chrome. Chrome checks for and applies updates automatically. If an update is pending, select Relaunch. Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Search for Chrome and tap Update if available.
Microsoft Edge Go to More (three dots) > Help and feedback > About Microsoft Edge. The page will automatically check for and download updates. Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Search for Edge and tap Update if available.
Mozilla Firefox Go to Menu (three lines) > Help > About Firefox. The browser will check for updates. If a restart is needed, select Restart to Update Firefox. Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Search for Firefox and tap Update if available.
Apple Safari Safari is updated with your macOS. Go to the Apple Menu > System Settings (or System Preferences) > General > Software Update. Safari is updated with your iOS or iPadOS. Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
