Scheduling page not loading in web application

If you encounter issues with the scheduling page not loading in the 7shifts web app while other pages work fine, this guide will help you troubleshoot common issues. Clearing your browser’s cache and cookies often resolves loading problems and ensures smooth performance of scheduling features tailored for restaurant operators.

Clear Browser Cache and Cookies

Accumulated cache and cookies can interfere with loading dynamic pages such as scheduling. Clearing them can refresh your browser’s stored data and fix the issue. It’s a recommended first step when facing loading problems in 7shifts.

Instructions for Google Chrome

  • Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear Browsing Data.
  • Select 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files'.
  • Click Clear data to remove them from the browser.

Instructions for Safari

  • Enable the Develop menu in Preferences > Advanced by checking 'Show Develop menu in menu bar'.
  • Click Develop > Empty Caches to clear cached data.

For browser specific steps, see: How to Update Your Browser and Clear Cache & Cookies

Reload and Verify

After clearing cache and cookies, reload the scheduling page. If it still does not load, note your device and browser details, then contact 7shifts Support. To expedite the resolution process, please provide our team with the following information:

  • Navigate to this link  > click "Copy URL to Clipboard" > share with us the link you copied so we have details about the type of browser you're using.
  • Were you able to replicate the issue in incognito mode? To do this, copy and paste your 7shifts URL into a new incognito window. For example:
    Incognito mode for Chrome.
    Incognito mode for Safari.
