Payroll Submission Stuck on “Submitting” or Spinning Wheel

Issue

When you try to submit your payroll in 7shifts, you click the final Submit Payroll button, but the screen displays a spinning wheel, and the submission process doesn't complete. This prevents you from finalizing and sending your payroll.

What To Do

Occasionally, cached session data or a momentary connection drop may cause the submit action to stall. They steps below typically clear the session and allows your payroll submission to go through successfully:

  1. Log out of your 7shifts account.
  2. Log back in to 7shifts using your Admin credentials.
  3. Navigate back to Payroll and try submitting payroll again.
