Troubleshooting Tip Discrepancies Between SpotOn and 7shifts
Issue
There are tip discrepancies when comparing data from 7shifts to SpotOn. You need to access the Payments List Report in SpotOn to investigate.
What To Do
Follow these steps to access and export the Payments List Report from your SpotOn Restaurant Reports dashboard:
- Log in to SpotOn Restaurant Reports.
- From the left navigation bar, select Payments.
- Choose Payment List.
- Set the desired date range.
- Allow the page to refresh and load the data.
- Under the graphs section, on the right-hand side, click the Export drop-down menu.
- Select the CSV option.
- Save the file to your computer.
After exporting the report, you can use the data to compare it with your 7shifts reports to identify and resolve and/or escalate any tip discrepancies.
