Activity Log

The Activity Log allows you to view and audit a detailed history of key actions within your 7shifts account, giving you a record of activity, schedule changes, timeline events, and more. Track important updates like availability adjustments, schedule publishing, announcements, and shift pool changes.

⚠️ The Activity Log is only available on the web app.

⚠️ Access to this feature may require an upgrade from your current plan.

       
    1. Head to your Dashboard, and scroll to your Activity Log.
       
      Or, hover over your profile photo in the top right of the screen > select Activity Log.



    2. Here, you can view and search through your logs for the following events:
          • Availability approvals, deletions, and edits.
          • Schedule publishes, clears, and re-publishes. If a schedule is copied from a previous week or filled from a template, the Activity Log will show the first publishing event as "Re-published."
          • Announcements.
          • Shift Pool approvals or rejections.
      ⚠️ Please note that the Activity Log will show the event activity of all Locations in the account. So this information will be visible to any Managers and Assistant Managers, regardless of which Locations their user profiles are assigned to.
    3. Narrow down your search by using the filters. You can filter by month, audit type, and employee:

    4. When choosing an audit type, click on the Show Details button to see more information about an event and Hide Details to collapse it.
