How to Complete a Task List on 7tasks

With 7tasks, manage all your tasks and ensure that both you and your team stay on track

In this article, we'll cover how to access your task lists, recognize the different types of tasks, and mark them as complete. Additionally, you'll find out how to handle tasks that require specific inputs, such as entering temperatures or taking photos, to ensure that every task is completed accurately and on time.


Here's how to view and complete your Task List withing 7tasks:

  1. Enter your punch ID to access your Task Lists:



  2. Tasks and Task Lists will be labelled if you are specifically tagged to complete them:



  3. Check due times and overdue tasks. Tasks with a set time frame will display the due time beside the list and will be indicated in red:

  4. Task Lists that have a due time will only be available for completion within 2 hours after the due time.

  5. Tap on a Task List > Show details to view the description of the task list. If a specific due time is set, it will be visible:



  6.  Any tasks tagged for you will be highlighted.  Other employees who can view this list can also see or complete tasks that are tagged to someone else:



  7. Complete your assigned tasks by tapping on them individually.

  8. Some tasks will require that you enter a temperature or number value. Simply tap on the task to make an entry > tap Complete task.

  9. Some tasks will require that a photo is taken to show how well the task was completed. Simply tap on the task to open the camera > snap a photo > tap Complete Task/Retake.

  10. For photo entries, the device that is set up as your 7tasks terminal will require a built-in camera. You will be unable to upload any photos or files to complete the task, as you will be prompted to take a photo using the device’s camera. You may also need to grant the 7tasks app access to the device’s camera.

  11. Toggle Show completed to see your Task List progress:

  12. Tap on a task to re-open it and mark it as incomplete. When you reopen a task, the latest entry will be recorded and replace any previous records/images.

  13. Tap the bottom Exit panel to sign out of your Task List:



  14. Nicely done! You've completed your task list.
