How Can Inactive Employees Access Their W-2 or paystub?

If you're no longer employed or your former workplace's 7shifts account is deactivated, you can still access your W-2s and historical pay stubs through the 7shifts mobile app

Prerequisites

⚠️ Access to W-2s and pay stubs is only available for accounts using 7shifts Payroll as a provider.

⚠️ If your employer uses a different payroll provider, please contact them directly for payroll documents.

⚠️ Access is only supported through the mobile app, and not supported on the web.


Accessing Tax Documents Through the Mobile App

You'll need the latest version of the 7shifts mobile app and an existing 7shifts employee profile (even if deactivated).

  1. Log in to the 7shifts mobile app.
  2. Tap the More Menu icon (☰).
  3. Select Pay Management.
  4. Go to:
    • Pay stubs tab for historical pay statements
    • Tax Forms tab for W-2s

If you did not opt in to Paperless Statements, a paper copy of your W-2 will be mailed to the address originally listed in your profile.
