Accessing W-2s and pay stubs after deactivation

If your 7shifts account is inactive or your former workplace has canceled their 7shifts Payroll account, you can still access your W-2s and historical pay stubs through the 7shifts mobile app.

Things to know

⚠️ Important: You must have the latest version of the 7shifts mobile app and an existing employee profile to log in.

  • Access to W-2s and pay stubs is only available for accounts that used 7shifts Payroll as their provider.
  • If your employer used a different payroll provider, you must contact that provider directly to retrieve your payroll documents.
  • Access for deactivated users is supported through the 7shifts mobile app and is not available on the web.
  • You can access your W-2 electronically in the app even if you didn't opt in to paperless statements. If you didn't opt in, we’ll also mail a physical copy to the address in your employee profile.
  • W-2s for the 2025 tax year will be available in the 7shifts mobile app starting January 27, 2026 and will be all published by January 31, 2026.
