A W-9 form is an official IRS document used by businesses to collect important identification information from individuals or entities they intend to pay.

As a Canadian business, 7shifts does not provide a W-9 form. Instead, we provide the W-8BEN-E form, which serves a similar purpose for non-U.S. entities by certifying foreign status and claiming treaty benefits. This document is valid until December 31, 2026.
