Why do cash tips appear in my report if they aren't part of the pool?

In 7shifts, why do Cash Tip values show up on the Tip Pool report if my configuration only includes Credit Card Tips as contributions?

Answer

In Tip Pool reports, all raw tip values (e.g., net sales, cash, credit card, declared, auto gratuities, etc.) are displayed regardless of their contribution settings. These columns are designed to provide a view of all tips recorded for each employee (and punch, in the case of the detailed report) during the selected time period. This ensures transparency and helps identify any potential discrepancies in tip data.
