Grant Third-Party Administrator (TPA) Access in Minnesota

A Third-Party Administrator (TPA) is an external organization or service provider that manages payroll and employee benefits on behalf of a company. To comply with Minnesota state regulations, 7shifts Payroll customers must grant Check (our payroll processing partner) TPA access to the Minnesota Employment and Economic Development (MNDEED). This enables Check to handle payroll-related communications directly with the department on your behalf.

Steps to Authorize Check as Your TPA in Minnesota:

  1. Visit the Minnesota Unemployment Insurance Program’s Agent Roles page for detailed instructions.
  2. Check Technologies’ Third Party Administrator (TPA) ID: AG021422
  3. Assign the following roles to Check:
    • Account Maintenance: View Only
    • Tax Payment: Update and Submit
    • Wage Detail: Update and Submit
