Set Up a Preferred Payment Method During Onboarding

Set up a preferred payment method as part of your 7shifts onboarding process. Whether you’re getting paid by direct deposit or another method, this article will walk you through how to select and submit your payment details. Follow the steps below to complete this part of your onboarding —whether you’re using the web or mobile app.

⚠️ Payment Method forms will only be available if your Employer has enabled this feature. If you have more questions about this, please reach out to them directly.

⚠️ Employee Onboarding is only available for Accounts located in the US.

⚠️ Accounts using 7shifts Payroll can onboard as per: 7shifts Payroll for Employees.

  1. Log in to the web app. If it’s your first time, check your email for an invitation and follow the steps to set up your account.
  2. From the dashboard, click Start or Continue Onboarding:
  3. Choose Payment Method from the list of outstanding documents:

  4. From the dropdown menu, select your preferred option. If you choose Direct Deposit, you’ll need to enter your banking details:

  5. Once done, click Submit to save your payment method. That’s it!
