How to Filter Your Schedule

As you build your schedule, you can use filters to switch between date ranges, locations, and departments. Customize your schedule view by applying these filters individually or in combination. 

In this article, you'll learn how to refine your view by three filters: date picker, Location, and Department.


Date picker

Use the date picker to select a date range for your schedule view. By clicking on it, you'll open the calendar with which you can switch between months and years with the arrow icons. Alternatively, you can click on the Today button to quickly navigate to the current day's schedule

The day/week you are currently viewing will be highlighted in blue:


Location

Select one Location to view at a time. For Managers/Assistant Managers, only Locations they have permission to access will appear in this dropdown menu.


Department

Select one or multiple Departments to view at a time. For Managers/Assistant Managers, only Departments they have permission to access will appear in this dropdown menu:



Here are a few helpful tips when selecting multiple/all departments to view at once:

⚠️ Admins can select from all Departments while Managers and Assistant Managers can select only the Departments they are assigned to.

⚠️ Multi-Department view is not supported on mobile web browsers.

⚠️ Multi-Department view does not support the Labor Budget Tool in Day View, and will only surface sales and labor data for one department at a time. 

  • You can use this function from the List by Role and List views.
  • When using Fill from Template and Save as Template from this view, you will apply and save by Department.
  • When using the Copy To and Copy From functions, you can select labor targets and shift notes you want to copy forward too.
